Overview Must be US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, or have Work Authorization. Position is not eligible for H2B, J1, or other similar visa. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to fill a full-time, year-round role. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, detail oriented, and a team player. Perform a variety of maintenance functions such as installations, general maintenance and equipment repair, HVAC, painting, wall repair, tile work, and facility upkeep through our preventative maintenance program. Work closely with different members of the operation as well as frequent interaction with resort guests. General Responsibilities: Perform general maintenance of building and facility, including basic experience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Perform general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring and air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures, and motors. Make repairs on plumbing fixtures, piping, drains and sanitary systems. Make repairs to woodwork, wall vinyl, doors and window, carpeting, etc. Perform general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other miscellaneous equipment. Keep records as required by company policy and procedures. Maintains logs on completed tasks. Prepare reports as requested by supervisors. Submit all requested reports/logs in a timely manner. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Experience working in a Maintenance role at a hotel, inn or resort preferred. Knowledge of common vocational skills (basic understanding of carpentry, plumbing, mechanical and electrical - licensing not required). Other duties as assigned. Shift flexibility, including nights and weekends during season (mid-May through mid-October). Ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull throughout duration of shift. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $20.00/Hr. - $24.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
