Performs other duties as prescribed by supervision. CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: + Assists other maintenance personnel. + Replaces fluorescent lights and performs plumbing duties. + Constructs and repairs structures and fixtures from wood and plywood following written or verbal instructions. + Operates various yard maintenance equipment, such as push mowers, riding mowers, tractor mounted mowers, and other various hand tools. + Paints equipment and structures as needed. + Operates straight shift trucks, forklifts, industrial tractors, lawnmowers, drill press, woodworking machinery, small power tools. + Completes paperwork as required, including job cards, inspection reports, logs, etc. + Keeps work area neat, clean, organized, and under control. + May be called upon to work late evening, early morning, or other unscheduled hours to perform necessary emergency repairs. + Is responsible for quality and safety of own work and compliance of all company procedures and policies.
