Maintenance Generalist
_We’re looking for qualified_ **_Maintenance Generalist_** _like you to join our Texas Health family._
**Work location:** Texas Health HEB, 1600 Hospital Pkwy, Bedford, TX 76022
**Work hours:** Full-Time: Sunday from 3:00pm to 5:00am and Monday - Wednesday from 1:00pm to 10:30pm OR Wednesday - Friday from 1:00pm to 10:30pm and Saturday from 3:00pm to 5:00am

**Qualifications**
**Here’s What You Need:**
· H.S. Diploma or Equivalent is required. (Individuals hired into the position prior to January 1, 2003, will be grandfathered with existing education.)
· 1 Year of maintenance experience in a commercial or industrial environment required.
· 1 year of maintenance experience in a healthcare environment is highly preferred.
· DL - Driver’s License required upon hire.
· Other Healthcare maintenance certification upon hire preferred.
**Skills**
· Proficient in the use of computerized systems for all aspects of job performance.
· Ability to perform basic building maintenance functions to include painting and general repairs.
· Working knowledge of basic hand/ power tool operation.
· The ability to recognize and solve practical problems or issues.
· Ability to communicate maintenance problems to hospital departments and departmental supervisors.
· Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
· Ability to work unsupervised and in teams.
· Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills.
· Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
**What You Will Do:**
· **Provide basic building repair** and maintenance support including, but not limited to, general mechanical repairs, painting, electrical, plumbing, customer requests, grounds, and the like utilizing the computerized maintenance management system.
· **Participate in hospital** and departmental safety programs, education opportunities, and related training.
