Maintenance Handyman Responsibilities: + Perform general maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs. + Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and address maintenance issues. + Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency. + Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning equipment, fixtures, and appliances. + Install new equipment, fixtures, and systems as required. + Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, and develop appropriate solutions. + Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of equipment and facilities. + Collaborate with other team members, contractors, and vendors to coordinate repairs and maintenance activities. + Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed. + Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while performing maintenance tasks. Maintenance Handyman Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in maintenance or related field is preferred. + Proven experience in general maintenance and repairs, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. + Proficient in using various hand and power tools. + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. + Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy objects, working at heights, and operating machinery. Maintenance Handyman Preferred Skills: + Experience in a similar role within a commercial or residential setting. + Certification or license in a relevant field, such as electrical, plumbing, or HVAC. + Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules. + Basic knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
