Mission Linen Supply is seeking a Maintenance Helper. The Painter/Maintenance Helper is responsible for painting, maintaining surfaces throughout the facility and assisting the Maintenance Technician team.
The Maintenance Helper pay is $19.00 - $21.00 an hour. The starting pay is based on education, experience, other qualifications, and location of assignment.

QualificationsDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Applies preparatory materials, paints, and stains to surfaces of walls, ceilings, equipment, etc.Working conditions include restricted movement; air contamination, dirty environment, possible hazardous materials, lifting or carrying heavy objects.Washes, scrapes, sands, torches, and/or smoothes interior and exterior surfaces prior to painting, varnishing, lacquering or applying other related materials.Cleans equipment, paint mixing area, and work area.Operates compressors, striping machines, sandblasters, spray equipment, and other small power equipment.Maintains existing paint surfaces through matching and tinting of appropriate paint products.Identification, safe handling, and appropriate disposal of paints, stains, preparatory and undercoating materials, and other hazardous materials.REQUIRED SKILLS
Knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials, and application techniques common to the painting trade.Knowledge and skill in hazardous materials handling, application, and disposal.Skill in the preparation and application of paints, stains, and surface preparation materials to a wide variety of surfaces.Completion of a three year technical training program in painting (or related experience) and three years of painting experience OverviewMission Linen Supply is a family owned, privately held company, and a leading provider of products, services, and supplies to hospitality, medical, and industrial businesses.
