Maintain and repair all, restaurant and food related equipment, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and associated controls.Assist licensed trade members in the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Department.Be responsible for the condition of assigned area/equipment.May monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems for normal operation.May diagnose and troubleshoot various equipment faults. Have other opportunities to learn and expand your knowledge.

Qualifications:You!Individuals enrolled in or a graduate from an HVAC related programCandidates that have a natural gas pipe fitter (G3) certificationSomeone who is mechanically inclined and adept at equipment repair and troubleshootingIndividuals who are comfortable with heights and ladder workCandidates that have a valid Ontario’s driver’s license (G/G2) with a clean abstractIndividuals that are able to provide their own CSA approved safety footwearPeople that have an understanding of standard practices, refrigeration and building control systems and relevant codes (an asset)Previous experience with hand power tools and test equipment (an asset)Availability that includes working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays and able to work shifts that start at 6am
