Our team is searching for a Maintenance I&E Engineer to work at our Bishop, TX site. As a valued member, you will develop and implement programs to ensure compliance with technical engineering standards, efficient repair procedures and processes, minimize disruptions to operations due to unplanned outages. You will also be accountable for providing technical support to improve equipment availability.
You will be reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager.
As a Maintenance I/E Engineer - Bishop, TX, you create chemistry by...Participating in the development of routine maintenance job plans, analysis of equipment life andperformance, preparation and elaboration of repair, predictive, and preventative maintenance procedures, and designing maintenance activities to achieve equipment performance objectivesProviding daily support of planned and unplanned maintenance activities to supervisors, technicians, contractors, craftsmen and other maintenance personnel on challenging preventive maintenance and complex repair activitiesProviding inputs into the Bad Actor Program and create action plans for improving reliabilityAssisting with training and development of in-house maintenance resourcesParticipating in maintenance improvement, equipment upgrades, equipment replacement projects, and capital projectsParticipating on accident / incident investigations and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), executing corrective actions for complex and / or repetitive problems and initiate and / or modify predictive and preventive maintenance programs as necessary.Assisting in the design, factory acceptance tests, installation, site acceptance tests, commissioning, operations, maintenance, and periodic function tests of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and associated instrumentation, valves, and electrical equipment.Own/complete required Management of Change for I&E maintenance activities.If you have...
A bachelor’s or advanced degree in electrical engineering or a related fieldAt least five years of professional experience in a chemical manufacturing environmentKnowledge of Maintenance, Operations and Engineering activities in a chemical or manufacturing environmentSpecial knowledge of I&E related equipment; inspection; repair, codes and standards applicable to the production of specialty chemicalsThe ability to work in a team environment and establish and maintain effective working relationships with all departments at the facilities defines your work style.The ability to drive continuous improvement.
