Job Summary
Industrial Electricians install, service and troubleshoot equipment, and perform preventative and predictive maintenance functions. They work with plant equipment, distribution circuits and transformers, motors, starters, and motor control centers, programmable logic controllers, computer-based controls, control panels, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and electrical control systems. Service high voltage electrical systems. Performing all work in accordance with relevant codes and safety procedures. The rate of pay is $41.08/hour.
Some of the benefits for this position include $.75/hour shift differential, overtime on hours worked over 8 hours in a day, prorated two weeks’ vacation and up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Conduct all job duties with Safety as a priority and in compliance with Safety Rules. Install conduit and wiring for power distribution, lighting, and machine or equipment controls Build or modify control panels Installing communication wiring Understanding, installing, troubleshooting of PLC ladder logic and HMI’s Maintaining and troubleshooting Industrial manufacturing equipment to include electrical and mechanical issues Maintaining and troubleshooting of electrical starters, motors, relays, transformers, electronic controls, HVAC, generators, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems Maintaining high voltage equipmentWho You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
Completed a State Indentured Industrial Electrician apprenticeship – Journeyman status Strong electrical and mechanical abilities Mechanically inclined and have good problem solving capabilities Understanding of PC’s, PLC’s, and HMI’s Mount and dismount fork trucks, scissor lifts, and boom lifts Ability to work independently and in a team environment when required Work with voltages up to 600v
