ROLE SUMMARY:
The Inventory Coordinator is a part of the Maintenance Department. The primary responsibilities of this role include managing the inventory control system, maintaining physical parts inventory, purchase equipment parts, managing department spare parts budget and making recommendations for improvement as necessary. This position works under the immediate day-to-day direction of the Director of Facilities and Maintenance Operations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build and maintain inventory levels in the maintenance management software.Run inventory stock level reports. Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.Work with vendors to source quotes and purchase parts.Develop, create, and close work orders in the maintenance management software.Maintain a clean and organized shop / spare parts areas while ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent.1+ years’ experience in inventory control.One year of experience in maintenance work; production or manufacturing maintenance (preferred).Basic Excel Skills required.Intermediate Excel Skills including Pivots and Graphs (preferred).BENEFITS
