Maintenance Lead

The Maintenance Lead will assist department leadership at Indianapolis in achieving world-class maintenance through training, monitoring processes, aiding in process improvement initiatives, and aiding in IPS implementation. The Maintenance Specialist will provide a direct link between management and hourly (union or contracted) workforce employees regarding maintenance. The Maintenance Specialist’s overall contribution will support the site’s goal of improving reliability, reducing equipment failures, and achieving OEE goals.
Your role will be:
Assist maintenance employees with day-to-day tasks as needed.Evaluate and improve training / skills for employees in maintenance.Assist in evaluating metrics for improving department performance.Provide knowledge and assistance for maintenance employees during training period.Participate in or lead root cause analysis as needed.Develop and improve work instructions, standard works, etc.Provide knowledge and assistance for process improvement initiatives.Participate in and assist with department IPS implementation and further evolution.Your profile needs these qualifications:
Significant experience working in maintenance department is preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) is preferred.Knowledge of SAP required.You will need these skills to be successful:
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrates high level of understanding of maintenance and reliability processes and practices within the department.Ability to analyze processes and machinery for improvement capability for/through maintenance technician and operator interaction.History of safe work habitsStrong integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.Ingredion Total Rewards and Benefits

$78,700.00-$104,966.67 AnnualThis pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
