Responsibilities:                                                   

Lead the maintenance team in making quality repairs in a timely fashion which includes following up to see work is completed correctly.

Effectively communicate with Supervisor on issues that hinder the team performance.

Provide leadership in changes to PMs and work assignments that will improve the performance of the department and plant operations.

Be able to fill in for the Maintenance Supervisor in their absence.

Set priorities on task at hand to ensure operations to meet their time schedules and that maintenance personnel with questions or tasks.

To train maintenance personnel and help with questions or tasks

To insure a clean and safe working environment.

To identify hazardous situations and correct them reporting them to the supervisor.

Enforce the following of SOPS especially those procedures that relate to the Maintenance Department.
