**Maintenance Lead** Manufacturing & Utilities Aurora, IL, US Pay Rate Low: 30 | Pay Rate High: 36 + Added - 12/02/2025 Apply for Job Our client is seeking a skilled **Maintenance & Manufacturing Lead** to oversee facility and equipment maintenance with minimal supervision. This role serves as the in-house expert for maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects while collaborating with site management. Located in Aurora, IL Direct hire opportunity **Pay:** $30-36/hour **Schedule:** 1st Shift M-F 6am-230pm **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform preventive maintenance on production (Blending & Packaging) and facility equipment. + Manage and utilize the **CMMS system** to track maintenance activities. + Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment. + Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issues. + Install and repair industrial pumps, valves, and piping systems. + Lead and support capital projects, including coordinating external contractors. + Train and guide team members on maintenance procedures and repairs. + Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. + Rebuild equipment components as needed. + Install production and facility equipment per manufacturer specifications. **Qualifications & Skills:** + **Education:** High school diploma required; AAS or trade certification preferred. + **Experience:** 7+ years as a maintenance mechanic/technician in a manufacturing or commercial facility; chemical process experience preferred. + Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing industrial equipment, including boilers, pumps, and electrical systems.
