Job Description

Repair and maintain all equipment associated with the Rendering Plants operations.Ensures that all equipment including facility interior, exterior and tools are maintained to achieve maximum operating efficiencyPerforms plant maintenance, construction, installation of new equipment, adjustments and repair of equipment as neededTo lay out and plan projects as directed by supervision and ensure all carts, tools and support equipment are made available for the successful completion of such projectsTo maintain an available supply of parts, rebuilt gearboxes and other equipment to help minimize down timeEnsures that all equipment including facility interior, exterior and tools are maintained to achieve maximum operating efficiencyPerforms plant maintenance, construction, installation of new equipment, adjustments and repair of equipment as neededPerforms required paperwork as required by the SAP PM program

Qualifications

Must have experience in poultry processing maintenance or related fieldMust be able to troubleshoot problems and make “on the spot” correctionMust be competent in welding (arc and heli arc) using a cutting torch and fabricationMust be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writingMust be self-motivated, a self-starter and able to work with a minimum amount of supervision
