We are looking for a Maintenance Manager with experience in plastic injection molding maintenance and repair to join our team. Overseeing and involved with our technicians on performing complicated repairs to hydraulic and electric machines as well as other repairs as needed. Troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently and with minimal direction is essential for this position.
- Responsible for the efficient and cost-effective repair and maintenance of all related plant equipment, buildings and grounds.
- Direct day-to-day work activities of the applicable Maintenance Department team members in the establishment of tasks and effective procedures.
- Develop, implement and maintain an effective preventative maintenance program on all related plant assests, which include, but are not limited to, molding machines, compressors, chillers, thermolators, and welders.
- Ensure the completion of accurate documentation associated with all the maintenance procedures inclusive of preventative/predictive maintenance and emergency repair activities.
- Ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of an activity-based work order system for all repairs, inclusive of safety compliance procedures. Documents activities accordingly and maintains documentation according to company-directed procedures.
- Schedule work orders to ensure jobs are completed on time and to the desired frequency.
- Maintain associated plant equipment to achieve 90% or better asset ultilization.
- Recommend, justify and maintain spare parts crib that enables the facility to function effectively through the effective utilization of company assets.
- Prioritize repair and maintenance activities based on customer demand and safety compliance.
-Directs, plans and coordinates activities in the Maintenance Department, ensuring proper machine repair and uptime are achieved.

Requirements
· Degree in engineering is preferred but not required
· Previous supervisory experience troubleshooting, electrical, hydraulics, air compressor, and air dryer work experience required.
· Knowledge of Ladder Logic and PLC experience required.
· Knowledge of machine shop equipment, mechanical skills, troubleshooting and National Electric Code.
· Ability to read and understand basic electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics. Ability to read blue prints.
· Solid knowledge in industrial electricity, hydraulic and pneumatic systems with excellent mechanical aptitude.
· Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations regarding equipment and power safety.
· Ability to climb overhead structures, and to work underneath machines in close quarters in order to perform day-to-day tasks.
· Good communication skills maintaining professional and respectful work environment.
· Ability to supervise and work independently.
· Ability to work additional hours on short notice, including weekends, is required.
· Must be willing to continue training to upgrade skills, as required.
