Maintenance Manager
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team in the United Kingdom. The Maintenance Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the maintenance operations for a portfolio of commercial properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of all building systems, equipment, and infrastructure, while managing a team of on-site technicians and subcontractors.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, elevators, and other critical equipmentConduct regular inspections to identify any potential maintenance issues and recommend necessary repairs or upgradesCoordinate and supervise all planned maintenance, repairs, and emergency services to ensure minimal disruption to building operationsManage and oversee a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluationsCollaborate with facility managers and stakeholders to understand the specific maintenance needs and allocate resources accordinglySource, evaluate, and manage third-party vendors and subcontractors, ensuring their compliance with service contracts and safety regulationsMonitor and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, equipment maintenance, and costsReview and optimize maintenance processes, policies, and procedures to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectivenessEnsure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations in accordance with company policies and local legislationStay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in maintenance managementRequirements:
