**JOB SUMMARY:**
This role is responsible for:
+ The Maintenance Manager is responsible for improving and sustaining the Plant's equipment reliability and infrastructure at top-notch condition, through deployment of an effective and efficient maintenance strategy. This person will lead the maintenance team and ensure the necessary skills, training and work systems are being used in accordance with business needs to assure top performance. Interface with key suppliers (maintenance contracts, equipment and consumables suppliers) at a strategic and tactical level in order to ensure acceptable performance at a competitive cost.
**KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES** :
+ The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the following functions and programs, as outlined in detail below:
+ Review maintenance processes that impact on equipment reliability and improves and streamlines our systems to reduce machine downtime.
+ Work with the Plant functions to coordinate maintenance delivering significant OEE improvements.
+ Liaise with and provide support for Engineering technical and projects support.
+ Organize and coordinate maintenance PM/CM and predictive activities in the operations areas while prioritizing and completing in a timely fashion.
+ Keep up to date on all reliability issues, develop and implement plans to address.
+ Provide first line technical and problem-solving expertise in support of the production and packaging activities.
+ Support all CPS Foundation Programs and participate in team activities supporting this.
+ Lead the planning and co-ordination of shutdown maintenance programs.
+ Remain at leading edge of maintenance best practice including benchmarking and use of an appropriate condition based monitoring programs for the site.
+ Performance metrics reporting & improvement.
+ Monitor safety, Security and environmental on the plant floor in order to ensure maintenance activities that impact these critical areas are prioritized and appropriately dealt with, and, as a result, there is compliance with company policies and regulations.
+ Handling the receiving of goods related to the engineering department & new projects; using SAP.
+ Responsible for managing and maintaining all utilities and equipment.
+ Abide by company's set of intentions and directions (policy) towards the Environment through an uninterrupted fulfilment of relevant instructions and / or precautions
+ Ensuring Compliance with Environmental Management System (ISO 14001), EOHS, encourage appropriate positive attitudes towards EOHS. Apply relevant EOHS policy and procedures. Actively participate in EOHS inspections, audits and risk assessment.
+ Ensure all hazards and incidents are reported and investigated appropriately and suitable controls are implemented.
+ Has the authority to stop any activity that violate the company EOSH management system.
**RELATED JOB REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Engineering Bachelors' Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
+ 8+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
+ Demonstrated experience of leadership and influencing skills organizing a high performing team of technicians in a complex environment.
+ Experience of developing and implementing an appropriate Maintenance Strategy.
+ Track record in leading technical problem solving on process equipment and a problem-solving mindset with experience of continuous improvement.
+ Experience of working in food, chemical or life sciences industries is an advantage.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Performance Management and people development experience.
+ Extensive experience in computerized preventative maintenance planning systems.
