Our Hastings site is constantly growing, providing lot of opportunities to make a difference within and beyond the scope of Maintenance Manager role.
Maintenance Team perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure longer lifespan of machines and facilities. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures. In your role, you will be responsible for team of up to 6 direct and 7 indirect report taking care of maintenance and facilities.
Take responsibility for the maintenance and facilities department on the Hastings site. This includes; Maintenance engineers (working shifts), Facilities, Canteen & reception staff.
Maintenance:
Facilities (including Canteen and Reception):
Ensure safety & security is maintained across site Lead site improvement initiatives to upgrade facilities across site Implement improvements to reduce energy consumption and improve sustainability Support the site through the provision of safe and engaging events (off and on-site) Managing, maintaining, and establishing maintenance procedures for production lines in a food manufacturing environment to ensure production meets or performs better than budget.Other:
Provide training and continuous development on all maintenance & Facilities personnel. Perform other duties by coordinating work with outside inspections, providing project management, ensuring safety of personnel, and performing other duties as required. Own and maintain Crisis Management and Business Continuity plans with support from the site Mgmt team Contribute on New Machines/ Equipment design & development What your background should look like: Experience in an international industrial company min. 5/6 years. Experience managing teams required Lean manufacturing experience Experience implementing and managing Total Productive Maintenance systems and processes. Prior exposure to the creation and application of Business Continuity and Crisis Management plans.
