Maintenance Manager

Position Overview
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations within the facility, ensuring that all equipment and machinery are functioning optimally to support production goals. This role involves planning and coordinating maintenance activities, leading a team of technicians, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and training as needed.Schedule and oversee regular maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment, including plastics molding and injection systems.Monitor maintenance metrics and analyze data to identify trends, making recommendations for improvements.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all staff.Manage budgets for maintenance operations, including parts, labor, and equipment investment.Coordinate with production teams to minimize disruptions during maintenance activities.QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering, industrial technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of plastics molding and injection processes.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Experience with preventative maintenance programs and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).Strong leadership and team management abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
