Summary Request, receive at end delivery point, inspect and maintain parts, equipment and material used at PVGS Water Resources Facility. This is performed through varies methods including material requests, desktop requisition, contract service/labor requests and direct purchase The position requires field walkdowns and oversite for staging and set-up of equipment/material to support on-line and outage activities. The coordinator will own Contracts (Labor/Service) and responsible for vendor compliance and invoicing. Minimum Requirements High School diploma or GED and 3 years related experience. Requires extensive MLIS and SIMS knowledge to generate, complete, and close work orders. Knowledge of MS Office products to support departmental functions. Must have a general familiarity of calibration equipment and terminology. Be familiar with APS procurement procedures and practices. Nuclear requirement: Any PVNGS employee may be called upon to serve as a member of the Emergency Response Organization (ERO) and will be expected to fulfill their obligation as an ERO member. This is a condition of employment at PVNGS. Roles and Responsibilities defined in Policy 1503 and implementing policy guide are applicable to all PVNGS employees. Any PVNGS employee may be called upon to support a refueling or short-notice outage. This includes line roles and responsibilities as necessary to execute outage activities. This position may require access to and/or use of information subject to control under the Department of Energys Part 810 Regulations (10 CFR Part 810), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) (15 CFR Parts 730 through 774), or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) (22 CFR Chapter I, Subchapter M Part 120 ) (collectively, U.S. Export Control Laws). Therefore, this position requires applicants to be a U.S. person, which is defined as a U.S. Citizen, a U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), a Political Asylee, or a Refugee under the U.S. Export Control Laws. Major Accountabilities 1) Performs approval, routing and status of material required for corrective and preventative maintenance work orders, which comply with NRC and Palo Verde guidelines and procedures. 2) Initiates DR’s, MR’s, and PR's for equipment and services to support on site tasks. Maintains appropriate files and records to track and maintain material within their control. Follow up with vendors to ensure equipment, material and services are delivered as required by contract. 3) Supports Supply Chain Department leadership, Procurement Specialists, Stores, Work Management and Scheduling to monitor and track parts and services to support On-line and Outage schedules. Maintains inventory control of material delivered from Supply Chain Warehouse and direct deliveries to the end user at WR. 4) Assembles inventory and status reports in SCORE, MAXIMO, Power BI to ensure Maintenance and Scheduling have up to date status and costs associated with WR Supply Chain activities. Initiates CR’s for material and services that do not meet requirements. 5) Manages the day to day administration organization of the WR Material storage area and equipment. This includes WR tool room and consumable issue area. 6) Attends and supports WR Operation status, Scheduling, Planner, Long Range plan and Business Ops review meetings. This attendance is to provide material and budgeting status information for prioritization of work and scope. 7) Assists Leadership in responding to unanticipated events by assisting in development of recovery and corrective action plans. 8) May create APS item numbers for new, revised, or obsolescence material. 9) Maintains unique and safety related equipment for issuance to WR personnel for use. This is explosive gas monitors, AED, confined space entry, and breathing equipment. 10) Updates and maintains work order and department databases. Plant/Field Role: This position requires work to be performed in the field and/or at the work site, due to the nature of work. Any PVGS employees may be called upon for random Fitness for Duty (FFD) testing during scheduled working hours. Employees, if off-site, must report to FFD at Palo Verde as soon as reasonably practicable, but no more than 120 minutes after being notified. Employees who are onsite when notified will have no more than 60 minutes to report after being notified.
