Primary Purpose of Role:
The Maintenance and Materials Administrator is responsible for administrating the flow of the Facilities Maintenance and Construction Department. This includes upkeep of indirect purchase orders, invoice reconciliation, storeroom analytics, inventory review and procurement of storeroom consumables, networking with accounts payables internal and external, data storage and other various special projects. Work is generally of a technical nature with the ability to understand manufacturing and spare parts components and make decisions within the limits of general standards and practices; and involves using initiative in decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and maintain indirect purchase orders.Maintain and review spare parts database.Review and approve factory service request.Ability to manage supplies by monitoring, reporting, and providing recommendations on issues, which could affect quality, delivery, or pricing.Continually improves the value of supplier accounts payables.Ability to coordinate receiving and shipping logistics.Ensure best practices are utilized across the team and organization.Maintains and adheres to corporate purchasing and supplier quality polices and procedures.Key Performance Measures:
Strong knowledge of various computer systems such as Microsoft Office, SAP ECC, SAP Ariba systems and IBM Maximo.Knowledge of material procurement and sourcing.Knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic concepts.Understanding of industrial maintenance and construction best practices.Competencies and Behaviors:
