The Distribution Center (DC) Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance throughout the DC. Maintenance in the DCs includes advanced automation sortation and conveyor equipment, along with various facility task including material handling equipment, fire suppression systems, dock door systems, HVAC, industrial electrical, plumbing, mechanical and fluid power systems. The Technician will work in maintenance functions that include both interior and exterior as needed or per maintenance supervisor direction.
JOB DUTIES
Responsible for daily troubleshooting and repairs of Automated Conveyance systems and other operational production equipment.Performs routine repairs on facility, electrical, (AC/DC), mechanical, pneumatic, material handling equipment, fire prevention system and hydraulic repairs or installations.Performs routine preventative maintenance tasks electrical, (AC/DC), mechanical, pneumatic, rolling stock equipment, fire prevention and hydraulic systems.Assists level III/A technician with special projects and/or repairs.Performs routine building maintenance such as painting walls, repair roof leaks, plumbing, repair door locks and other building related maintenance.Responsible for 5-S and cleanliness of assigned and dedicated areas.Follows detailed instructions from level III/A technician or maintenance supervisor in written or verbal format.Maintains work order, preventative maintenance and inventory tracking systems via spread sheets, data bases, or maintenance software.Set up offices and assist with moving furniture, hanging fixtures, etc.Complete other special projects or duties as assigned. Provide training or mentorship to maintenance technicians level I or C as needed or requested.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Education Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent and certifications in at least one major component of Distribution Center plant maintenance
Education Preferred: Certifications in all (or most) components of DC plant maintenance and college technical degree in electronic, electrical, HVAC, mechanical or industrial maintenance from an accredited institution.
Experience Minimum: 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience
Experience Preferred: 5+ years of industrial plant maintenance technician experience comparable to level II or B
