Maintenance Mechanic 3rd shift
Our client a locally owned and operated food manufacturer is currently seeking a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician for their Ephrata location. The Production Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains production line equipment, troubleshoots equipment failures, and performs routine and emergency mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic, and electrical maintenance. In addition, he or she helps install new equipment and fabricates new equipment or supplemental pieces when needed. The ideal candidate has 18-36 months of experience in mechanical systems maintenance for a high-speed production line. Candidates must have maintenance experience with high-speed packaging equipment. Knowledge and advanced skills in pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, bearing, chains and belting, conveying systems, valves, basic blueprint reading, and mechanical troubleshooting. We are looking for a team player who can work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, is physically able to perform the duties of the job (move heavy equipment/machinery, climb ladders, perform repetitive motions, walk/stand, etc.), has strong communication and customer service skills.
