**Maintenance Mechanic** **Location:** Lynnwood, WA **Pay:** $30-38, depending on experience **Shift:** 5AM - 3:30PM, or 1PM - 11:30PM **Job Description** We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate is dependable, communicates effectively both verbally and in writing, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks on bakery production equipment, freezers, and facility infrastructure. You’ll ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively, helping to maintain smooth operations across our facility. **Responsibilities** • Responsible for preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repair of all pieces of equipment within the bakery including production areas, building and facility grounds. • Responsible for maintaining the equipment’s productivity to minimize downtime or malfunctions. Some tasks are required to be performed within rigid time frames to maximize our productivity. • Ensures all work areas are clean and safe. • Follows all company GMPs. • Works in a safe and efficient manner and always stays within compliance of Federal and State requirements. • Maintains accurate and timely records of work performed on work orders, maintenance calls and preventative maintenance reports. • Responds to maintenance and line stoppage calls with a sense of urgency and responsibility to get production moving again. • Provides emergency repairs quickly and efficiently. • Performs duties in all areas within the maintenance department. • Provides technical assistance and information to the Chief Engineer as needed. • Displays initiative in recognizing work that needs to be accomplished and makes + recommendations to the Chief Engineer **Skills** • Industrial electrical experience • Inverter and PLC programming preferred • Previous experience in similar maintenance of production line equipment and facilities at a large commercial bakery is preferred. • Work experience in other similar equipment maintenance of industrial, manufacturing or production line equipment preferred. • Ability to work in a high temperature environment supporting fast paced machinery. • Ability to quickly learn new job tasks and have the flexibility to perform different tasks as needed. • Must be able to work any day including holidays and weekends • Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work to meet our standards for 24/7 production **Why Work Here?** At our company, we believe in taking care of our team.
