**MAINTENANCE** **MECHANIC** Lynwood, WA 1st shift: 5am- 3pm M-Th (4/10’s) 2nd shift: 1pm-10pm M-Th (4/10’s) **_$28-$30+ /Hr._** **Description:** A leading Frozen Baked Goods manufacturer is seeking an experienced maintenance mechanic to join our team full-time. The majority of the role will be troubleshooting and preventative maintenance with occasional corrective maintenance and vendor communication. · Preform Required repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned in an orderly, timely, and cost-conscious manner. · Become familiar with a variety of bakery production equipment, freezers, and facility systems. · Responsible for preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing all pieces of equipment within the bakery including production areas, building, and the facility grounds. · Responsible for maintaining the equipment’s productivity to minimize downtime or malfunctions. Some tasks are required to be performed within rigid time frames to maximize our productivity. · Ensure all work areas are clean and safe. · Follows all company GMPs. · Works in a safe and efficient manner and always stays within compliance of Federal and State requirements. · Maintains accurate and timely records of work performed on work orders, maintenance calls and preventative maintenance reports. · Responds to maintenance and line stoppage calls with a sense of urgency and responsibility to get production moving again. · Provides emergency repairs quickly and efficiently. · Perform duties in all areas within the maintenance department. · Provides technical assistance and information to the Chief Engineer as needed. · Displays initiative in recognizing work that needs to be accomplished and makes recommendations to the Chief Engineer. **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** · Industrial electrical experience · Inverter and PLC programming preferred · Previous experience in similar maintenance of production line equipment and facilities at a large commercial bakery is preferred. · Work experience in other similar equipment maintenance of industrial, manufacturing or production line equipment is preferred. · Ability to work in a high temperature environment supports fast paced machinery. · Ability to quickly learn new job tasks and have the flexibility to perform different tasks as needed. · Must be able to work any day including holidays and weekends · Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work to meet our standards for 24/7 production. **_*Interested?
