Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to provide maintenance coverage for both the 1st and 2nd shifts. You will be responsible for corrective and preventative maintenance for the packaging, processing, and utility systems in our warehouse. The equipment you will work on includes conveyors, pneumatics, vision systems, HMIs, PLCs, sealers, slicers, among others. Additionally, you will maintain parts and necessary supplies of maintenance inventory and ensure safety processes, including wearing proper PPE. Secondary responsibilities involve floating between lines and assisting operators.
ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance and take corrective action to prevent equipment downtime.Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, schematics, and service manuals.Maintain parts and supplies inventory and reorder as necessary.Follow all required safety practices, including lockout-tagout and wearing required PPE.Act as a floater between lines and assist operators.Essential SkillsExperience with preventive maintenance, hydraulics, maintenance repair.Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.Proficiency in reading schematics, service manuals, and technical procedures.Knowledge of PLC and HMI systems.Basic computer skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma is required.Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience is required.Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, or general maintenance procedures.Knowledge of PLC systems is preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment consists of a smaller warehouse with a split shift schedule from Monday through Thursday, 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM. The facility is not fully climate controlled, with heat provided in the winter, but doors are frequently open to process and load orders.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
