Maintenance Mechanic

Paying $35 / HR - $45 / HR

Responsibilities:

Responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systemsCapable of identifying and correcting problems such as: electrical/control systems, (sensors, limit switches, solenoids, motors, Servos, PLC programming, PID loops, etc.) and mechanical systems (pumps, vacuum pumps, belt drives, gear reduction drives, piping, valve diagnosis and replacement, air handling systems, material delivery systems, etc.)Identify and implement safety and continuous improvements, equipment calibrations and reliability opportunitiesEnsure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements on motors, motor control devices, pumps, conveyor systems, instrumentation, and all production equipment; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specificationsLocate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and mechanical and electrical testing instrumentsControl downtime by informing operation workers of routine preventative maintenance and operation techniques; monitoring compliance and reporting to supervisor as necessaryProvide mechanical maintenance and other general information as necessary to prevent equipment damage; answers question to related maintenance issuesFabricates repair parts or additions for process as necessaryServes as an \"Expert\" resource, providing training and assistance to Operations and other support groups

Qualifications:

1-3 years of related experience requiredAssociates degree, Technical School Certificate or Military training in one of the following fields: electrical or electronics systems, industrial controls, or manufacturing Systems/Mechanical SystemsAbility to use hand tools and knowledge of associated safety proceduresExcellent written, verbal, and listening skillsMechanical proficiency, problem solving and analytical skillsAbility to work with vendors, contractors, and company employeesAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to climb ladders preferredCompletion of an Industrial Maintenance vocational or technical school programExperience with Wastewater Treatment equipment

Environment / Shift:

Clean, fast paced food production facility.One of the top employers in the Twin Falls, ID area.Different parts of the facility are dedicated to different products.Fast paced production machinery, conveyors, automated machinery, automated packaging equipment.7:00pm - 7:00am. 3- 12 hours shift, then 4- 12 hour shifts.

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $93600.00/yr.
