Volt is immediately hiring for 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanics in Santa Maria, CA!

As a Maintenance Mechanic you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tWorking with mechanical packaging and other associated equipment.\r\n\tMeet production quota.\r\n\tRequests and monitors inventory to ensure proper parts supply.\r\n\tTroubleshoot and repair air, hydraulic, and electrical systems.\r\n\tPerforms preventative maintenance and repairs packaging equipment as needed.\r\n\tAssists manager and other mechanics with projects that arise throughout the plant\r\n\tMust be able to operate a forklift.\r\n\tFollows all Company policies and procedures, which include SOP’s, Employee Handbook, Food Safety and Quality Procedures, Food Quality Policies, GMP Handbook\r\n\tOther duties as assigned.\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a Full-Time 2nd Shift Opportunity.

\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate is $24.50/hr

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tHaving the ability to read and understand blueprints, schematic drawings, and equipment manuals to determine proper work procedures.\r\n\tBeing willing to receive training and certification for the following: forklift, man lifts, cranes, rigging, and overhead cranes, etc. \r\n\tBeing willing to weld Stainless Steel and other metals utilizing TIG, MIG, Arc and Oxy-acetylene welding. \r\n\tAbility to work and participate in a team based environment.\r\n\tCleaning and maintaining tools, equipment, neat work areas, shops, vehicles, storage areas, etc.\r\n\r\n\r\n
