Job Description:

About the Role:

The Maintenance Mechanic role at the South Beloit location provides support to the Production Team.  You'll add value to the role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

Maintenance of all production repair as needed to ensure machinery is running efficiently

Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled

Train other team members on equipment operation

Complete purchase requisitions as needed for parts, equipment and tools

Inform Operators, Line Leads, and Supervisors or other management personnel of any Food Safety or Food Quality concerns or of any processes which become non-compliant with specified requirements.

Important Details:

This is a full-time permanent role on 1st shift, which operates from 6:45pm to 3:00pm. Monday through Friday with flexibility to work some Saturdays.

You will fit right in if you have:

A minimum of 1 year of relevant industrial or maintenance experience is required or a maintenance certification

Understand the basics of scale operations, weights, and measurements. Ability to communicate in English

Ability to read and understand all Maintenance manuals, codes, and regulations. Possess basic understanding of math. Ability to use and operate all tools and machinery required to complete maintenance responsibilities.
