**URGENTLY Hiring for a Maintenance Mechanic with a Extract Company!** **Pay:** $30 - $38 **Location:** Carteret, NJ **Shift:** 1st, **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely repair of equipment to ensure smooth production operations. You will perform various plant maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, painting, and cleaning. This role requires a hands-on individual who can work efficiently and safely to meet customer service expectations. **Responsibilities** + Perform timely repair of equipment to keep production running smoothly. + Conduct plant maintenance including plumbing, electrical (low & high voltage), mechanical, painting, and cleaning. + Repair, maintain, and install industrial process equipment such as spray driers, powder blenders, pumps, distillation equipment, percolators, mixers, motors, seals, heat exchangers, material handling equipment, and filling equipment. + Maintain mechanical processes including exhaust fans, motors, boilers, water filtration, air compressors, hot water heaters, and electrical processes including VFDs, PLCs, relays, starters, and low voltage controls. + Use CMMS/BMS to monitor, schedule, and document all preventative and reactive repair work orders. + Use BMS system to ensure all HVAC and mechanical equipment is running at peak performance. + Maintain boilers and comply with inspection requirements. + Work on new projects, prepare areas for new processes and equipment, and participate in project testing. + Assist in coordinating third-party contractor activities including repairs, inspections, and scheduled maintenance. + Support and participate in Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices training, and participate in audits as requested. **Why Work Here?** Join a 100-year-old family-owned and operated company that values stability and employee recognition.
