MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

Currently seeking Maintenance Mechanic for a full-time Permanent position on Webster, MA.
Responsibilities of Maintenance Mechanic:
-Inspect and check facility and mechanical equipment for repair needs
-Ensure mechanical equipment are efficiently operating, incompliance with set standards, and safely operated
-Identify and troubleshoot problems with equipment, determining urgency of repairs needed
-Performed routine and preventative maintenance on plant facility and equipment
-Prioritize work based on needs and urgency of repairs needed
-Maintain inventory levels of equipment and repair parts
-Record all problems and repairs made with equipment and facility in a log
-Ensure timely response of staff during emergencies by remaining familiar with all emergency response procedures
-Perform other related tasks as assigned
Requirements of Maintenance Mechanic:
-Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 2 years in specialized training program
-Previous experience in with industrial sewing equipment preferred but not required
-Certified Maintenance Mechanic s License a plus
-Strong communication skills
-Possess comprehensive knowledge of all equipment used while performing maintenance on machinery and facility
-Able to stand, lift, bend, and climb throughout shift
-Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
-Familiar with Computer Maintenance Management Systems
-Able to use multimeters and other measuring tools
Hours:
First Shift: 6:30am-3:00pm Monday-Friday
Second Shift: 3:30pm-12:00am Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $26.00-$31.00/hr
