Maintenance Mechanic
**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for all maintenance on industrial equipment. The role includes performing preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring converting equipment and lines run continuously. The mechanic will participate in manufacturing process improvement initiatives, perform all repairs, and implement technical solutions. Proficiency with precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, dial indicators, and multimeters is required. **Responsibilities** + Perform maintenance on all industrial equipment. + Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance. + Troubleshoot equipment and determine issues. + Ensure converting equipment and lines run constantly. + Participate in manufacturing process improvement initiatives. + Perform repairs and implement technical solutions. + Use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, dial indicators, and multimeters. **Essential Skills** + Maintenance experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems. + Experience with conveyor maintenance, motors, and industrial equipment. + 1+ years of industrial maintenance experience working on hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and 3-phase motors. + Comfortable with changeovers, setups, fillers, pumps, and valves. + Troubleshooting and repair skills. + Experience with preventive maintenance and electrical systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED required. + Preferably 3+ years working in a GMP environment. + Computer proficiency in MS Office. + Minimum 5 years related manufacturing experience in FDA-regulated facility preferred. + 3 years experience in non-FDA facility acceptable. + Previous experience in GMP or Food Manufacturing is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a stable environment with great benefits, including an ESOP program. **Work Environment** The company operates nearly a million square feet of production and distribution centers. The facility is a liquid filling plant, and candidates with experience in liquid filling or packaging, especially from the food and beverage industry, will have an advantage.
