The  Maintenance Tech will support  up to 4 locations based in Nevada and Utah.  Ability to travel on schedule and ad hoc is a must. 

What You'll Do Effectively monitor and inspect equipment for defects Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture Perform additional duties as needed Perform all facets of the repair safely while utilizing hand tools, power tools and precision tools at different heights or adverse conditions Perform building maintenance as required Purchase supplies and parts for repair, track purchase requisitions when necessary Able and willing to cross train as required Attend extensive training regarding applicable equipment Maintain good general housekeeping, keeping clean equipment and work area. Keep all tools in good working condition Perform predictive/preventive/corrective maintenance, utilize computer systems and programs for documentation of maintenance/safety activities; perform time entry, enter notifications and work orders, enter corrective actions/comments Repair and maintain shop machinery and mechanical equipment including overhead cranes, shears, benders, threaders, forges, induction heaters, and welders Work with other Technicians on job orders and troubleshooting Familiarity with electrical maintenance/repair and ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and components Maintain and repair shop machinery and/or mechanical equipment to include overhead cranes, shears, benders, threaders, forges, induction heaters, and welders What You'll Need Must be able to work outside under all weather conditions to include working in the heat and cold weather Welding skills preferred Able to read technical documents and service manuals, write clearly Both mechanically and electrically inclined with experience working in both areas Experience servicing and repairing industrial equipment Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies, rules, and regulations Minimum 4 years preferably in a heavy industrial environment Possess a strong work ethic and practice safe working habits Specific knowledge of hydraulics a plus Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment, with strong work ethic, pay attention to detail and find root causes for issues Possess proficient skills utilizing hand tools, power tools and precision tools for performing all facets of the repair and maintenance process Work on rotating shifts with some overtime required Able to work overtime as business requires Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and steps, work outside under all weather conditions when needed Your Education High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required Competencies Appearance of Work Area Customer Service Collaboration & Teamwork Productivity Dependability Attitude Decision Making Quality Safety Job Knowledge
