**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** The Maintenance Mechanic will primarily focus on repairing critical mechanical breakdowns of manufacturing equipment. You will diagnose and repair equipment with and without documentation to ensure production continues smoothly. When there are no critical breakdowns, you will perform preventive maintenance and document your repairs and equipment used. **Responsibilities** + Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns of manufacturing equipment. + Perform preventive maintenance tasks and document repairs and equipment used. + Replace or repair gear boxes and pumps. + Use new and traditional techniques to diagnose mechanical problems. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical issues. + Experience with maintenance technician tasks and preventive maintenance. + Strong mechanical skills, particularly in diagnosing mechanical problems. + Familiarity with gear boxes and their repair or replacement. + Knowledge of pumps and their internal components for repair or replacement. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Preferred minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance. + Experience working in an industrial maintenance environment. + Strong work ethic and self-starter attitude. + Ability to work well with others and ask for help when needed. **Why Work Here?** The company offers competitive time off for full-time employees, 401k with matching, and federal holidays off.
