At Lebanon, Indiana, this facility will be Lilly’s most technically advanced manufacturing site focused on the delivery of the next wave of innovative products at Lilly. It will include next-generation manufacturing technologies and advanced data collection and analysis platforms that will deliver improvements in safety and quality, and process performance.
This is a unique opportunity to be a part of the team for the startup of a greenfield manufacturing site, and the successful candidate will participate in the start-up of the facility responsible for both clinical and commercial supply.
We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic at Lebanon Advanced Therapies Manufacturing Site. The Mechanic, will provide general maintenance support for LP2, focused on equipment uptime and reliability. They will work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality Control, and various other groups to troubleshoot, maintain, and perform Corrective and Preventative maintenance on process tanks and equipment used in our manufacturing operations, and provide project support on production and utility related equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Startup and Starup Phase:
Support a safety-first, quality always maintenance team.Ability to respond quickly and proactively to changing priorities within a reasonable timeframe.Cross functionally collaboration with Global Facility Delivery (GFD) to support project delivery.Follow maintenance procedures such as Tagout (LOTO), Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) work plans.Review data loading into CMMS and managing workflow for data changesUse the Workday system for time entry and personal information.Fully use Performance Management (PM) To manage objectives and development that align with the organizational and corporate priorities.Perform Modifications and new installations of Mechanical Systems.Ability to read P & ID drawings and schematics.Highly attention to details especially in GMP documentation.Post Startup:
Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, leading safety initiatives, and working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.Perform preventive maintenance inspections / repairs and document additional repairs needed.Remove / repair / adjust / install assemblies (e.g., pumps, agitators) using manual and powered tools.Inspect and make adjustments to equipment (e.g., valves, mixer motors, agitators, torque wrenches, crimping tools, PSV’s, PSE’s, and drives).Troubleshoot root causes of machine problems (e.g., excessive vibration or temperature, abnormal noises, and poor performance).Provide accurate, complete, and legible Work Order documentation on both paper copy (when required) and in GMARS system.Communicate effectively with operations supervisors on any process problems.Lay out / measure / fabricate and install short sections of pipe necessary to make repairsRepair / replace corroded, damaged, or plugged pipe including screwed, and flanged.Fabricate parts (e.g., brackets, stands, guards, insulation boxes, etc.) using shop equipment.Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED3-5 years of Maintenance Experience in a manufacturing production environment or relevant field.Basic Computer skillsAbility to follow written procedures while performing maintenance activities.Completion of Post Offer Exam/Work SimulationAdditional Preferences:
Associate's degree or Technical Certificate in a mechanical discipline, or equivalent experience.
