**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** + Maintains a strong performance level of completing tasks to meet scheduled requirements and business objectives. + Troubleshoots Mechanical, Pneumatic, Electrical (PLC experience preferred) and Hydraulic Systems to repair machine equipment during unexpected and expected downtime events + Complete PM schedule that ensures machine robustness and maximum uptime + Ensure all equipment and tools are maintained properly to avoid interruption of production and to minimize unnecessary downtime + Proactively analyzes machine downtime to identify and correct electrical and mechanical problems before they occur + Ensure availability of replacement parts for key manufacturing equipment to minimize unnecessary machine downtime + Creating work orders and analyzing work order history to determine and address root cause issues + Co-ordinate with outside contractors on equipment repairs and improvements while keeping costs low + Provide input and ensure completion of continuous improvement projects + Creates and maintains a safe and secure work environment – joining/performing LOTO, Fall Protection, Arc Flash Trainings **Requirements:** + Strong troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge of Mechanical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic Systems + Experience with total productive maintenance systems (TPM) preferred. + CNC machine repair experience preferred + Proficient in Microsoft Office and CMMS software preferred + Strong time management, sense of urgency, and organizational skills preferred + Strong accountability and ownership of the maintenance practices and supporting equipment availability KPI’s + Flexible and able to adjust quickly to changing demands and requests.
