**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic for our 2nd shift, which operates from 2pm to 10pm. The role involves performing mechanical and electrical repairs on food production equipment, both for emergency and scheduled maintenance. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on quality and precision. **Responsibilities** + Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on food production equipment. + Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production. + Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. + Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs. + Perform mechanical skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines. + Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. + Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments. + Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities. + Conduct a variety of plumbing maintenance and electrical functions. + Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties. + Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. + Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. + Perform other duties as assigned or needed. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting - 3+ years + Preventative maintenance - 3+ years + Blueprint reading, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding - 3+ years **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED required + 5 years of maintenance in a high-speed production environment required **Why Work Here?** Join a company with over eighty years of high-level experience in the custom foods business.
