Job: HIRING ASAP Maintenance Mechanic STARTING AT $28Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic responsible for operating, optimizing, and maintaining assigned production equipment. You'll ensure smooth equipment operation, minimize downtime, and maintain budgeted waste levels while upholding high product quality. Your role will also include performing preventative maintenance, starting up equipment, monitoring component inventories and safety guards, and keeping the production environment neat and orderly.

ResponsibilitiesOperate, optimize, and maintain assigned production equipment.Meet and exceed production standards while maintaining product quality.Minimize equipment downtime and sustain budgeted waste levels.Maintain accurate equipment logs and record downtime and maintenance problems.Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.Start up equipment and ensure accurate functioning.Monitor component inventories and safety guards.Maintain a neat and orderly production environment.Monitor in-process quality and address issues as needed.Perform required quality checks and process challenges.Follow safety and environmental procedures and Quality System Requirements.Support upstream and downstream operations.Perform rework as required.Work effectively in a team environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanical experience or proficiency required; 2 years of experience preferred.Knowledge of automated processes required.6-12 months of manufacturing experience desired.Experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics required.Work Environment

This is a direct placement role with a night shift schedule of 3-2-2-3 from 8pm-8am. Training will be extensive and initially conducted during the first shift before transitioning to the night shift. The plant operates 24/7, providing a large and dynamic work environment. Onboarding begins on Mondays.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $56160.00/yr.
