Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and making necessary repairs.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain plant equipment in running condition and perform assigned tasks as needed.Collaborate with quality assurance and sanitation departments to meet operational needs.Conduct constant walk-throughs of the area, shutting down lines as necessary. Interpret company policies and safety regulations, analyze and resolve work problems, or assist others in solving mechanical issues.Coordinate scheduling with personnel to ensure equipment functionality.Perform all other duties assigned by the supervisor.Essential SkillsMaintenance technician experienceRepair and preventive maintenance skillsMechanical knowledgeRefrigeration expertiseAdditional Skills & QualificationsAbility to lift up to 100 pounds, with frequent lifting/carrying of objects weighing up to 75 pounds.Ability to stand and walk for up to 3 hours prior to each break period.Capability to climb/balance using ladders, stairs, and scaffolding, maintaining body equilibrium on narrow or slippery surfaces.Proficiency in reaching, handling, and manipulating objects.Good vision to perceive shapes, sizes, distances, motions, and colors of objects.Ability to twist and turn the trunk of the body from side to side.Stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend the body downward and forward by bending the spine and legs.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work on concrete and metal platforms with varying heat, cold, and humidity levels. Exposure to moderate levels of chemicals, dust, and fumes. Hearing protection is required due to noise levels.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
