**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** Job Description: We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support our industrial shop and grounds work. Responsibilities include electrical and mechanical maintenance of machinery (water jets, saws, cranes), grounds maintenance (snow removal, salt laying), fleet maintenance and transportation, and following a preventative maintenance schedule. The role also involves coaching operators on machine maintenance. **Responsibilities:** + Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on plant machinery. + Conduct grounds maintenance, including snow removal and salt laying. + Handle fleet maintenance and transportation duties. + Follow a detailed preventative maintenance schedule. + Coach operators on machine maintenance techniques. + Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, CNC equipment, and welding tasks. + Replace pumps and motors; work with manufacturers. + Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems. + Organize and track tools and maintenance supplies. + Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities. + Drive company vehicles to service centers as needed. + Follow all company policies and procedures. + Take on additional duties as requested by management. **Essential Skills:** + Expertise in troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. + Experience with PLC troubleshooting, CNC equipment, and welding. + Knowledge of preventative maintenance schedules. + Strong organizational skills for tracking tools and supplies. + Ability to maintain detailed records and report issues promptly. **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** + Meticulous attention to detail. + Adherence to safety programs. + Experience with industrial machinery (motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays). + Ability to maintain high standards of equipment and facility maintenance. **Work Environment:** + Indoor work in a non-temperature controlled environment and occasional outdoor work. + Noise levels range from loud to very loud; may get wet due to working with water. + Steel-toe or rubber boots required. + Standard shift: Monday to Friday, 7-3 or 8-4; expect to work 45-55 hours per week and stay until the job is finished. + Weekly bonus for being on call; on-call schedule rotates every other week. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
