The primary purpose of this position is to provide full performance level work in construction, installing, repairing and modifying. Responsibilities Primary Duties: Plans and lays out work from blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications and work orders in the construction and maintenance of installation facilities. Independently applies skilled methods, techniques and advanced shop mathematics to construct, install, repair and modify a wide variety of structures. Following clear cut work-orders and instructions from supervisors or higher-grade worker, performs masonry task involved in maintenance, repair, alteration and construction of interior and exterior surfaces and structures. Performs work involved in maintenance, installation, repair and weatherproofing of roofs. Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment. Uses and maintains tools. Understand the function and operation of hand tools required such as drills, saws, levels, trowels, grinders, and measurement devices. Operate ingredient mixers of all sizes to properly mix mortars Have knowledge of ladders, scaffolding and associated equipment to establish safe work platforms. Install, repair, and maintain residential style and commercial roofing. Install shingles, tiles, or metal roofing systems on buildings, ensuring proper alignment and sealing to prevent leaks, also replace old roofs and apply protective coatings to existing materials. Also, vast knowledge working with materials like EPDM, TPO, and built-up roofing systems, adhering to industry standards to support the building's structural integrity. Proficient at conducting inspections to identify signs of wear, damage, or leaks. This includes assessing the condition of roofing components, enabling proactive repairs to prevent more extensive damage. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. Good physical stamina and strength to stand, bend, lift, and carry heavy and bulky products and equipment. Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines. Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for working with sheet metal, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). ???????
