Summary Description: Perform routine and emergency repair work to equipment and machinery. Assure operations meet production requirements and quality specifications.

\r\n

Essential Job Functions / Duties:

\r\n\r\nPerform all duties in a safe manner consistent with company Policy & Procedures and safety training.\r\nWear all required Personal Protective Equipment.\r\nMaintain good housekeeping in assigned areas consistent with Good Manufacturing Practices.\r\nPerform general labor duties as assigned or needed by management.\r\nMaintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.\r\nPerform emergency repairs as needed.\r\nMonitor and inspect equipment / machinery for mechanical soundness and make required and necessary repairs.\r\nPerform preventive maintenance.\r\nPerform all job functions consistent with Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, HACCP, and Quality Control Guidelines.\r\nMust have good understanding of computer control system throughout the mill.\r\n\r\n

Secondary Functions / Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management. Must attend scheduled safety meetings and other training meetings.

\r\n

Supervision: No supervisory responsibility.

\r\n

Qualifications / Experience / License

\r\n\r\nMust be task oriented and a self-starter with ability to follow detailed instructions.\r\nMust be able to operate material handling equipment.\r\nExperience in metal fabrication, feed equipment mechanics, electrical wiring and motors.\r\nMust be able to work flexible hours as required and be on call.\r\n\r\n

Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Good reading, writing, math and communication skills required.

\r\n

Physical / Mental Requirements:

\r\n\r\nAbility to lift heavy equipment\r\nAbility to work at heights and climb ladders\r\nAbility to work in confined spaces\r\nAbility to work in any weather environment.\r\n\r\n
