RESUMEN GENERAL (SUMMARY): Shift 8
Maintain and meet the department goal set by operation requirements. Responsible to maintain the Molding operation process in control to assure the performance of the plant.
TAREAS Y RESPONSABILIDADES (DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES):
1. Have thorough knowledge of the Injection Molding process.
2. Responsible to set up the molds and process start up in the production area. Clean molds and machines. Trouble shoot molding processes.
3. Maintain GMP, OSHA practices and QA standards in the production area.
4. Fill out necessary documentation to comply with specifications and SOP'S.
5. Assure that the mold is running with the master cycle parameters.
6. Responsible to maintain production standards and goals set by management.
7. Perform preventive maintenance works according to established standards and fill out preventive maintenance reports.
8. Follow hazardous waste disposal rules.
9. Perform minor repairs when machine or peripheral equipment indicates failure.
10. Certificate as Operator I – (Production Operator II)
11. Responsible for production, equipment and tools.
12. Put into operation a production process, with proper chutes to assure clean molding
where applicable.
13. Evaluate and design necessary equipment to implement the equipment needed to attain a clean molding status or to assure the molded components fall into the chute upon ejection from the mold.
14. Must keep work area in the most clean and order conditions required by SOL 6S.
15. Self-starter and capable of working with minimum supervision.
16. Perform other duties such as Product Inspection, Labeling, Test Documentation and Packing.
17. Manually document (ex: checker chart) and/or electronically (ex: POMs) the required information to comply applicable procedures and specifications. This information includes but is not limited to process parameters, lots, amount of production, and others
18. Responsible for conducting EHS inspections to identify and correct safety hazards and environmental aspects. Follow the EHS applicable procedures, and analyze EHS incidents (including near misses) to find causes and take corrective action.
DEMANDA FISICA (PHYSICAL DEMANDS):
Medium Work: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demands requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
EDUCACIÓN Y/O EXPERIENCIA (EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE):
Associate Degree in Electronic or Industrial Mechanic.
Three years experience in electronic, mechanics, hydraulic or pneumatic. Two years experience in Injection Molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
CUALIFICACIONES (QUALIFICATIONS):
Knowledge in temperature controllers and peripheral equipment. Capable to read and understand a blue print.
IDIOMA (LANGUAGE):
Bilingual (Spanish and English).
