SHIFT MECHANIC

As an Industrial Millwright Mechanic, you will be challenged to provide your strong technical skills with a can-do attitude to effectively resolve all repairs and maintenance necessary so that the plant equipment can function at a high level of performance with the minimum amount of downtime.

Responsibilities:

Performs PM work and repairs to machinery and plant support systems with regards to mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical. Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other routine maintenance work on machinery Works with a wide array of precision tools. Fabricates custom parts, fixtures and guarding by means of arc welding, grinding, oxyacetylene cutting Assembles and installs machinery and equipment such as mixers, saws, pullers, precision bearings, gearboxes, clutches, motors, shafts, sprockets, chains, conveyors etc. Alignment skills, couplings on pumps and various couplings • Participates and supports World Class Manufacturing initiatives Troubleshoots and repairs machinery and equipment in breakdown situations to ensure production requirements are met Participate in making improvements to process and machines
