Maintenance Mechanic Technician-Direct Hire
Kelly is partnering with a global food manufacturer to hire a Maintenance Technician in White Bear Lake This is a direct hire position with a union employer offering competitive pay, bonuses, and benefits. **Location:** White Bear Lake **Shift:** 12-hour Shifts, 2-2-3 Schedule + Day Shift: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm + Night Shift: 6:00 pm - 6:00 am **Pay Rate:** $28-30 **Position Overview:** The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting manufacturing process equipment, ensuring efficient operations and minimal downtime. This role requires mechanical and electrical expertise, adherence to safety and GMP standards, and the ability to work independently on preventative maintenance and repairs. **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on plant equipment. + Document work performed on daily shift reports. + Conduct repairs on single-phase and three-phase electrical systems, including control wiring. + Perform equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and corrective actions. + Assist with building maintenance and maintain parts inventories. + Utilize tools and schematics for troubleshooting and repairs. + Follow safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). **Qualifications:** + Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience or 2 years with relevant technical training. + Proficient in single-phase electrical systems and motors. + High-level expertise in three-phase power distribution systems. + Skilled in troubleshooting electrical control circuits using schematics. + Ability to safely operate test instruments (continuity tester, ampere meter, voltage tester). + Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills. + Familiarity with equipment and parts manuals. + Boiler Class A or B license (MN), preferred.
