Job Summary

This role will be to provide technical Maintenance support for rotating and fixed equipment at the Plaquemine site. You will be a technical focal point for planning and execution of work. You will also be the focal point for operations as the first call for emergencies and work with them to prioritize daily maintenance work.

Provide technical support for planners, and craft personnel.Owns maintenance procedure program.Provides pipe and paint specs as needed.Creates welding guidelines for planned and emergency work.Provide technical expertise in the design, selection, installation, and startup of critical Rotating equipment.Defines scope of work for repairs.Root cause analysis.Manages large equipment repairs onsite.Manages large equipment repairs offsite at repair shops.Owns the work que of repairable equipment for MRO.SAP super userWorks with Maintenance Manager to control maintenance budget.Maintenance focal point for projectsWork with team to drives EH&S performance.Works with operations and scheduling team to determine work priority.

Skills and Knowledge

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred or 10+ years Maintenance experience with rotating and fixed equipment.Ability to troubleshoot rotating and fixed equipment.Root Cause Investigation process knowledge.Knowledge of pipe specs, P&ID’s, and paint specs.Prior experience with SAP / Maintenance Management Software preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.Ability to travel on occasion (minimal).Candidates will need to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
