The Role

A Maintenance Helper is a non-skilled, entry-level position that provides labor and assistance to qualified MMI (Mechanical Maintenance) team. Maintains a safe and clean work area. May performs entry-level tasks necessary to support the maintenance department including but not limited areas such as:
Learn and assist MMI as they install, calibrate, repair, overhaul, maintain, construct, modify and install equipment and components. Maintain, repair, and modify building infrastructure. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic/pneumatic systems (airlines, solenoids).
Inspect, diagnose, and implement corrective actions on equipment and building systems.
Review blueprints/technical drawings and work orders in order to install, troubleshoot and repair. Perform preventative maintenance. Install, adjust, repair, modify machinery, controls, rigging, and installation equipment.
A skill/knowledge test may be administered to assist with determining training and development opportunities. The starting pay is $24.03/hour Monday- Friday 7:30am – 3:30pm
