Plant Maintenance – Mount Vernon, IN
This is a full-time, hourly level position.

Position Summary:Installing & maintaining equipment with the use of chain and cable hoists, hand tools and power toolsTroubleshooting mechanical failures and electrical systemsRepairing, rebuilding and maintaining drive systemsInstalling material systems and fabricatingJob Requirements:Applicants must have a demonstrated history of safe work behavior and a sincere desire to follow, as well as improve upon, safety policies and procedures (previous safety committee, and/or other safety leadership, a plus.Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systemsMust have the knowledge to plan step by step procedures to complete simple and complex tasksStrong mechanical and tool skillsExcellent communication skillsPrevious welding, mechanical and electrical experience is preferredMust be willing to work in all areas of the facilityMust be willing and able to take formal trade school courses as selected by managementWilling and able to work overtime and emergency call-in or call-back workMust have the ability to lift 50 pounds, work with heights, sit, stand, kneel, crawl, bend and work in a variety of hot and cold situations
