Maintenance of Line (MOL) Product Engineer

Eaton’s Power Distribution and Controls Assemblies business within the Electrical Sector is currently seeking **Product Engineers (MOL)** to join our team. These positions can be based in one of our manufacturing locations in either Greenwood, SC,or Omaha NE and will offer relocation assistance. The Maintenance of Line Product Engineer (Often internally referred to as MOL Engineer) is responsible for supporting product development, troubleshooting, and cost-out of electro-mechanical assemblies that meet applicable industry standards. This includes design, testing, verification, and project activities. Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary for this role is $75,000 a year. This position offers a one-time $6,000 signing bonus. **In this role:** + Participate with sales, marketing, manufacturing, and customers to determine design updates to existing products. + Reviews product development requirement specifications including product and customer requirements. Writes and maintains functional specifications of design solutions. + Facilitate design activities within project scope, budget, and schedule constraints. Maintain detailed project schedules incorporating resource management and milestone deliverables. + Promote generation of new ideas and documenting them appropriately for possible patent application and protection. + Work with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and field sales on meeting new design manufacturability, product performance and cost goals. + Participate in prototype builds and testing. Implementation of design verification test plans (electrical, thermal, and mechanical). Coordinating design verification test plans when necessary with the applicable standards agencies (UL, CSA, KEMA, ANSI, etc.). + You will provide technical training for both internal and external audiences. Provides application support for end users. **Required (Basic) Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution with a graduation before August 2025. + Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8 + Minimum of one internship or co-op experience or an equivalent of 3 months of related experience completed at the time of this application  + Must be willing to relocate to any of the following Eaton locations: Greenwood, SC or Omaha NE. Relocation assistance will be provided, if needed. + Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future **Preferred Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution + Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher + Electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing Internship/Co-Op experience + Knowledge of power distribution products (LV and MV Switchgear, Panelboards and Switchboards, Motor Control Centers, etc.) + Experience with PLC or relay programming + Experience with AutoCAD + Project Management experience \#LI-DNI \#earlytalent We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
