Function – Maintenance

Grade – Officer Grade IV

Position Overview:

Engineering Officer will mainly be responsible for Carrying out the preventive maintenance and also attending to any Breakdowns or malfunctions on machines during shift hour. His job will also include a constant effort to develop more cost efficient machines and processes.

Key Stakeholders:

Internal: Production, over all equipment Maintenance, Preventive maintenance, Planed Maintenance Counter measure of Break down, KAIZEN, Asset Maintaining, New project

Educational Qualification:

ITI, Diploma, BE - Electrician

Experience:

At least 3-8 years of experience in a manufacturing/FMCG company

Desired Competencies:

Ability to take decisions quickly and drive for max output from the available infrastructure

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prime responsibilities:

Transformer and Generator operations and monitoringMV panel , DG, Compressor & UPS reading has to be taken and written in log bookUtilities operations and condition monitoring (DG,Compressor, Bore well & ETP)Attending of plant machinery electrical break downs and supporting to mechanical break downs to set right the plant ASAPCondition monitoring of plant Machineries(Any up normalities ,motor fan and its cover ,terminal in proper conditions and earthing in proper)Daily log book has to be written and proper oral/written communication has to be given to the relieverUtilities –Transformers, DG, UPS, Air Compressor, ETP Monitoring, Water pump operation maintenanceSpecial care has to be taken to achieve the power and breakdown targetsDefective spares to be made ready

Associate responsibilities:

Participating in the ISO audits, Test verification and certification Validations etc.Involving in developmental activities to minimizing equipment down timesObserving and learning of new implementations and projectsEnsuring all panel boards in proper conditions.Timely information has to be given in spares requirementEnsure workplace safety by avoiding loose cable, open power points, joint cables & Proper closing of panelsDaily checking’s
