The Maintenance Operations Scheduler interacts with internal and external personnel to support site engineering, maintenance, and utility operations. The Scheduler reviews, prioritizes, and schedules maintenance tasks and projects in collaboration with maintenance shop teams, production groups, contractors, and other stakeholders. The Scheduler assists with shutdown work planning, scheduling, and coordination and serves as the Maintenance Department's principal MDI, MDIxAI, MP&S, sanitation, and training organizer. Programs, policies, and practices administered by the Scheduler adhere to local regulations, state laws, federal statutes, and Company policies.

 

Proactively comply with regulatory and safety requirements. Administer departmental safety documentation, such as audit corrective action registers, inspection punch lists, program implementation or modification, etc. Remain informed of OSHA mandates and general safety standards. Support departmental programs, policies, and protocols.

 

Represent the site engineering and maintenance department as a member of food safety committees and groups. Coordinate food safety corrective actions to address site deficiencies, audit findings, and recommended improvements. Research, plan, and prioritize maintenance and project work requests.Function as an interface between maintenance workers, operations personnel, and other relevant groups and workers. Maintain accurate departmental records (CMMS data, work orders, PM designs, asset histories, labor records, etc.). Track, review, and manage sanitation corrective action registers, inspection punch lists, modification requests, and associated functions. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience. Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, to include preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.Ability to work both independently and within teams with minimal supervision.Ability to write clear and concise reports, documents, and procedures.Significant computer skills, including Microsoft productivity programs. Computerized Maintenance Management System experience (SAP) preferred.The incumbent works closely with all site departments to ensure effective maintenance of assets and equipment needed to support production schedules. The candidate must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule that may include work hours on both weekdays and weekends. Typical work hours are on the day shift, Monday through Friday, but the position requires the incumbent to be available for evening work as needed and for weekend work on a rotating basis or as otherwise directed to support site objectives.

 

The incumbent will develop a general working knowledge of all factory operations, including raw product receiving, processing, freezing, packaging, waste treatment, environmental operations, boiler operations, etc.

 

Possess or obtain certifications in appropriate fields, such as industrial safety.

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work near operating mechanical assets and may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, toxic substances, or chemicals.
